Auto Finesse Essence Carnauba car wax is carefully blended by hand in Great Britain from the finest quality natural ingredients available. It contains 40% T1 Grade Brazilian Carnauba Wax by volume, with the remainder being made up of synthetic polymers, and gloss-intensifying oils. The waxes we use work as nature’s own defence against the elements, giving it water repellence, and resistance to environmental pollution (Including UV-fading, acid rain, and bird droppings).
With its blueberry scent and effortless application, Essence lasts up to 3 months.
Application:
Prior to waxing, ensure the vehicle is clean. Make sure there is no bonded contamination by using a clay bar to prep the surface. If paintwork hasn’t been polished in the last 6-12 months it’s advisable to use our pre-wax cleanser to further prep the surface.
Turn a foam applicator or Waxmate a quarter turn in the pot to coat pad with the wax (should be enough for a single panel), apply with small, even, overlapping strokes. The goal when waxing is to apply the product as thinly and evenly as possible, spreading and pushing the product out evenly accross the panel - a little bit goes a very long way.
Apply to the whole car before removing. When you are done waxing the entier vehicle, you will be ready to buff off the wax residue using a plush microfibre towel.
If the wax has dried, or ‘secondary hazing’ of the wax occurs (A phenomenon which can sometimes happen in hot or humid climates, especially if the product was over-applied.), you can use a water-based quick detailer to help ease removal of the residue. Make sure to wait at least 3 hours in between layers of wax.
Do not wax the vehicle if the ambient temperature is below 6 degrees Celsius, or above 25 degrees Celsius. Waxing in direct sunlight, or conditions of high humidity can lead to over, or under-curing of the product before removal.
